Paint Protection / Clear Bra

What is Paint Protection
Paint Protection Film (PPF), often called a “Clear Bra,” is a nearly invisible, high-strength urethane film applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces to shield against rock chips, road debris, scratches, and environmental damage. It’s the ultimate armor for preserving your paint’s showroom finish.
From partial front-end kits to full car wraps, paint protection is ideal for daily drivers, luxury cars, exotic vehicles, and fleet investments. At C & C Window Tint & Clear Bra, we use industry-leading films with self-healing technology that resists swirl marks, UV fading, and chemical stains—giving you unmatched protection without altering your vehicle’s appearance.
Keep your car looking flawless, longer—with professional-grade protection you can trust.

- Window Tint Care & Expectations
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How long does it take for window film to cure?
Please allow the window film to cure for at least 3 days. During this time, do not roll down your windows, as this can damage the tint before it has properly adhered.
Q2: How long does it take for window film to fully cure?
Full curing typically takes 3–6 weeks, depending on weather conditions. During this period, the film may appear hazy or show small water pockets — this is normal and will gradually clear. In colder months, full curing can take up to 6 months. Patience is key.
Q3: When can I clean my tinted windows?
We recommend waiting at least a few days before cleaning. When you do, use a soft microfiber cloth and tint-safe window cleaner or plain water. Avoid ammonia-based products and abrasive materials, as these can damage the tint.
Q4: Will my windows look crystal clear after tinting?
While we aim for the cleanest application possible, minor dust particles or pre-existing imperfections in the glass may be visible. Small flaws, scratches, or specks are common in all professional installations and may become more noticeable after tinting.
Q5: What is the white border I see on the edges of the rear window?
Many vehicles have a black ceramic “dot-matrix” along the edges of the glass. This texture can prevent the film from fully adhering, causing a whitish border effect. This is completely normal and unavoidable, and not a defect.
Q6: Why are there small chips in my tint?
This is often caused by seat belts hitting the window after release. The recoil of a seatbelt can chip or scratch the tint. This type of damage is not covered under warranty, so we recommend guiding the seatbelt back by hand to avoid impact.
